It all started when I had company come out here to move 2000 KZ Sportsmen I am a newby learning on fly so transport people unblock rv start hooking to hitch tell me to bring slide in my slide moves 2 feet and stops. Now no noise no nothing. For last week I have taken battery out had recharged tried to give additional power by hooking up to my car battery changed in line fuse found master slide button in cabinet above reg slide. Nothing works we were finally told to take motor off that it was acting like a (BRICK) so hubby bought grinder and cut motor off. Now I was expecting to be able to push slide in But No slide still cannot be moved with NO MOTOR. Somebody just shoot me and then HELP.

Can you tell us what models Sportsman you have ....
There should be a fitting on the slide mechanism that you can put a socket on an using a drill close the slide ...
There also maybe something in the way, an obstruction, slide run on gears an if there is something in the gears then what your talking about will happen ... I would have tried opening the slide before cutting the motor off an look to see if there was anything in the way, now you have to try pushing it open to check for such ...
Good luck

Shouldn't have to cut it out, it's a replaceable item. Low power ie battery near dead, obstruction like check said, bad connections between battery and motor, bad switch. Going to take some trouble shooting.

I think a Mobile RV Tech would have been a good course of action in this case.
