I purchased last year a 2017 KZ Sportsmen LE 242BHLE. Mine doesn't have a slide out. I have seen several that have the slide out but none without. Bought it new from dealer but do you suppose someone special ordered this on without the slide out or did they actually made both?

I know it doesn't show up on NADA either. Love the camper though just right for Wife and I.

Very interesting. Maybe it isn't a 2017? On the sticker, what is the date it was manufactured?

My 242SBHSS (w/slide) was sold to me as a 2016 model although it was manufactured in June of 2015 (I bought it in July of that year). The manufactured date is on a placard on the lower left hand side of the trailer, just forward of the storage compartment door. The only place the full model number is displayed on my TT is on a decal inside the forward cabinet door above the kitchen sink. The trailer VIN shows up in several places including a decal on the inside of the screen door, the tire loading decal, as well as the other decals I described above. I can’t explain why your floor plan doesn’t show up on KZ’s webpages other than the fact they build multiple models and maybe they only built a few of the 242’s without a slide out.

Our G384RLT is built in Oct. 2016 even thought it is stated as a 2017, jetzens 384 was built I believe in Feb. or Mar. of 2017 an is a 2018 so go figure ... I ask Kz CS when their build date changes, I was told in June of each year, I said then why is my friends trailer built in Feb. or MAR. a 2018 an not a 2017, was told they didn't know Ugh !!! Now I see 2019 models on the market, I'm totally confused LOL ... Safe Travels Chuck
