Does anyone know if KZ has any parking and hookups for customers there for short list of repairs - maybe a day or three?
Thanks, Al

From what I have seen while there is that there were no hookups for short stays at the factory, that dozen't mean there isn't any but looking at their repair shop off to one side of the factory complex is saw none ... However there is a camp ground were the rally is held only about two miles away an is very nice ... shipshewanacampground.com/There is also a camp grounds next to the Shipshewana Flea market about 3/4 of a mile down the road from the Shipshewana camp ground an a KOA along with another small camp ground about 20 miles away west of Shipshewana ... Thanks Chuck.
We do have inverter with 4 batteries. We can stay a couple of days on that, but obviously, with the heat, it would be better if we can use the a/c there and optimize the time at the factory.

Chuck I got a response from KZ that, originally, they couldn't fit us in until sometime in July. However, the valance and shade on the bedroom window, which had come down before and I tried to put up, fell down on me head. I contacted them, and they're getting me in this week - we're outside of Chicago now. I asked about utilities, and they said they had some electric and water at the corporate office. We have a long punch list, and they asked to have it prioritized. That's what they plan on doing. We'll see how it goes and report back. Al

Am I under the understanding that if you call the factory they will replace or repair problems with the RV at the factory? I was planning on heading out that way next June 2019. Do they only take care of warranty issues? I’d like to get my steps changed.

Chuck - Which campground is the closest and better to KZ. The is a camp ground were the rally is held only about two miles away an is very nice ... shipshewanacampground.com/only about a two miles away phone 260 768 4669 .... When you are at the camp ground you come out of the camp ground exit, turn left an go to light, at the light you turn right an go down I would say less than a mile an Kz is on the Left ... The street that you turn on to get to the Corp HQ is the samestreet leading back to the MFG area, not sure were there would be a hook up for a trailer, we parked in the front parking lot, there is no room in that parking lot for a truck an trailer to move around .... There is a side parking lot but I'm not sure about that even, I would park on the street going back to the MFG area an walk into the Crop HQ door which faces the street an ask about were to park ... As I remember I really didn't look in back of the Corp HQ building, when we were inside the large main area were they had trailers set up there was a couple of large doors were they could bring in trailers an such. so maybe in the back there is something .... You will find out that they are very nice people, they will bend over backwards to fix things, I can't say enought of how they treated all of us at the rally ... Please make it known that we all here on the form are looking forward to the Kz Rally in August when we get to see them again ... Safe Travels Chuck

Update on our factory stop.
I had a punch list of about 25 items. They asked me to prioritize the list, since I was coming on short notice. I did. But, they managed to get all but 2 done - and they needed items ordered from vendors. They will be shipped to an rv dealer near my home. It took them 2 days. Service is only open 6-3pm.
We were able to park next to the corporate office with 30 amp electric. Water was available, but we didn't need it.
I took the rig over in the morning, dropped it, and they bought it back in the afternoon.
We are pleased with the service
Kudos to Eric - service adviser, Bryan - Service Mgr, Mark and Kyle.
All the staff we came into were very courteous and friendly.

I should have also said that on my puncj list was the front cap lights. I can put them on but have really have to get frustrated getting them off. Lippert was to come, but their technician had an emergency. I guess they only one for service calls to all the factories in the area. But, then again, that's Lippert.

Al I know on my front cab lights they are a pain, even when we did our PDI the Tech had a dickens of a time turning them off ... Seem like you have to push the light button a number of times on your control panel to get ours turned off, so I never turn them on Again Glad you had a great experience at the factory Safe Travels Chuck
