Hello All!
After almost a year of research and shopping, we recently purchased a Venture Sporttrek 322 VBH and are so excited to start this journey. We look forward to the advice and help available here. Quick question, any recommendations on a portable generator that can handle 30 AMPs to run at least one of the AC units? Safe Travels! Elliot and Ami

Hi and welcome to the site, good info here with no BS. As far as gensets go, I have a pair of the Honda EH200i's . When ganged together they will run a single A/C, quieter than a typical "construction" genset, but not silent by any means. Beware of the inexpensive gensets, some don't produce clean enough power for TV's, computers and other "sensitive" electronics.

Congratulations on your trailer and welcome to the forums. If you have any questions just ask away. There are plenty of people on here that have good information.

As for generators I run a Champion3100I which I think has been replaced by a 3500I. The 3100 will run a single A/C, being an inverter generator it is quieter than the industrial stuff. Harbor Fright has also come out with an inverter generator that's had good reviews so far.
