new to kz 2018 connect bottom trim separating.has double sided sticky rubber holding it.any ideas for repair

I believe ACE has some rubber two sided sticky tape, it's gray in color an seems to work pretty well, I
used it on the trim of one of my pickups an the last I saw it the tim was still on after 4 or 5 years ...
