Has anyone had your grey water tank leak when the kitchen sink is draining water, but not while the bathroom or shower is draining? I am afraid that the collar on the tank is broken where the kitchen sink drains into the top of the tank, and I might need a new grey water tank on my. 2012 K-Z Inferno 3410T. That replacement looks like a challenge, and I don't know where to get a tank.
EDIT: When I wiggle the tank, it seems to not be solidly attached to that collar coming out of it. |

Often, the water tanks are not positively located and the attached fittings take the load, cracking them. Any repair or replacement should include positive blocking to prevent excessive movement. ABS tanks are easy to fix using ABS cement and fittings. Unfortunately most tanks are made of polyethylene and must be repaired using spin welded fittings or by plastic welding. You can test your tank by applying a small dab of ABS cement and see if it melts into the surface. Search for a plastics company in your area to see if that is a possibility. I talked to the local KZ Dealer in Denver and will provide them with the VIN of the Inferno along with some dimensions. We'll see how much they will charge for the replacement tank.
