My wife and I are seniors and are considering the purchase of a new 2019 KZ Connect Lite C201QB TT, and are looking for feedback about the build quality, structural durability and integrity, and warranty effectiveness for this line of trailers. I would like to know if things have improved in recent years under the new owners. Thanks for your help.

ian10965 Kz built a quality trailer before that were bought up by Thor, nothing has changed, they run their own show even thought they are owned by Thor ... Please read my other thread kzfamilyforum.com/thread/1681/buy-kz-trailerAs far as build quality, structural durability and integrity, I believe they still build pretty darn good trailers, do they make mistakes, yes, any MFG no matter how much you pay will make mistakes of some sort ... I will say most of the mistake or problems I have saw are not the fault of Kz, it is the fault of outside products installed in their trailers like stoves, frigs, heaters etc .... Now saying the above they do stand behind their product an their two year warranty is the real deal, you have a problem it get fixed at no cost to you ... I will say that some but not all their dealers will not fix your trailer unless you buy from them, but if you call Kz Customer service they will steer you to a dealer besides your own that will repair your trailer under warranty ... This seems to be a problem with most dealers an MFG not only Kz, if you didn't buy from them you don't get the service or you go to the back of the line an pay the bucks to get things fixed ... As stated in a number of threads here, your dealer is the most important part of buying a trailer, bad dealer owners will tell you that it is a bad product because of no support ... Safe Travels Chuck

Most all RV's regardless of Brand are built with frames, appliances ect. From outside sources and then assembled at the Factory.
I think KZ does a very good job at assembly. However they are still depending on the subcontractors to supply a quality part or appliance. They also have no control over the types and condition of the roads a RV is towed over.
I've had issues with our KZ. A majority were minor things like trim coming loose. Or self induced problems that I fixed myself. The major issues were all on products made by an outside vendor.
KZ stood behind and repaired or replaced the parts under the two year warranty. Even when the venders warranty on that part was one year. KZ always responded to my phone calls or emails. Maybe not the same day, but always got back to me.
As Chuck Said, finding a good reputable dealer is the key.
My purchasing dealer has been great so it's made the entire RV ownership experience enjoyable.
