I just noticed that the belly sagging on my D336ret. It is in the area of the main drain pipe coming out from under the camper. I don’t believe it is fluid because I think it would’ve leaked by now. It’s only sagging in a small section. I don’t want to puncture it. Any ideas?

A belly full of water would be much worse than a small puncture. With all the gaps at the edges, that tiny hole would not matter at all. Of course a piece of Gorrila tape can be used to reseal it. Other than water problems, tank mounting can break loose, so if the sagging is worrisome, better to check now than have an emergency on the road.

X2 on what lynnmor said, however all gold underbellys seem to have a sag in them. Hope that helps.

I’ve been in Myrtle Beach for the last 10 days and I just noticed it this morning. I went to the KZ dealership in Ocean Lakes Campground and talk to the service guy and visually inspected the same one that they have new on the lot and it’s the exact same thing. He said it’s due to a lack of a crossmember in that location. He also said it could be shift in the insulation. I then went back and poked a hole in the bottom and no fluid came out.

Hummmm I have a little sag in our G384RLT but it's around the dump pipe an connections to such, there is cross metal supports attached to cross-members at different locations under the underbelly to hold up the bottom an I do have a small amount of sag there but not much .... My thinking it was because of all the insulation that I saw them putting under the 2500 series trailers at the Kz plant last year when we were there during the tour .... Do I wish there was more cross bar steel slats (my term) attached to the cross-members to hold up the underbelly, yep. Would I like to see a cross bar/slats on every crews-member that was possible to put one on holding the under belly up, not sure at this point if that is possible, I am one who like's to over build things ... So far I have not had a problem, an I am not saying there is a problem, but if I can't get Kz to add some I possibly may add maybe one or two in the future myself (DIY Project) depending on how well the underbelly holds up Also there is another thread here in this folder on this subject at : kzfamilyforum.com/thread/1997/underbelly-bulgingSafe Travels an happy Glamping Chuck

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I think it’s normal. Just travelled from Myrtle Beach to the Virginia mountains and noticed no change. It was a rough ride in some places. Looks good and I checked out the link you sent me. Heading home to Connecticut on Monday. That’s another good test with those roads but I’m positive I’ll be fine.

Seems like all the money the government sends to these states to rebuild the roads in many case's goes to everything but the roads Ugh !!!!

Yes, I made a post here a month ago or so, as mine was exactly that. Every time I look at it I shake my head. If you reach around the bottom edge L-Brackets you can feel edge of the belly covering. I have looked at this 100 times and it still scares me. No screws in that area either. I just wish kz would chime into these forums once in awhile to help calm the nerves.
