We have decided to install a Camp Pro Wifi Extender as it seems like a very highly reviewed product, at a great cost. The only issue we have is the rigid antenna mount design. I've been searching for an articulated antenna that can fold flat for travel, but have had no luck yet. The antenna, which mounts directly on the wifi booster (Tube-U) is a 24" 9db 2.4ghz weatherproof mast with a male outside N thread and a female N center. I plan to mount to the ladder top. Has anyone had any luck finding a folding or spring antenna for such a mount? I am not worried it might get taken off by an overpass, it's too short. But it would definitely loose a fight with an overhanging branch in the campground!

We installed the Camp Pro Wifi Extender on our TT about 2 years ago. I installed the rigid antenna on the TV antenna mast using clamps. Therefore while traveling, the both antennas are lowered. The system works fine as installed.

Hi LarryO, we did the same thing on our last rig, which had the crank up batwing antenna. Our new rig, however, has the fixed "mushroom" style of antenna, so I need to find a solution independent of that. I might have found it, using a marine rail-mount device. I sent off a note to their support department to see if it swivels the way I need it to, and if so I'll post some pics of the installation! I usually blog all stuff like this at muddscape.com , but I'll also try to include here (still figuring out if I can attach pix here!).

I use a Ubiquiti Bullet, which is the base hardware for Camp Pro Wifi Extender. It can be attached to a batwing antenna. I use a extension flagpole attached to my rear ladder. The capture distance is remarkable. Al
