After coming home from our first trip in our new Durango (which we love), we think we might need a real nav/GPS system for RVs before our next big trip and wanted to know if anyone has the Rand McNally 7720? And would you recommend it? Have been reading reviews, but would love to hear from some of our fellow KZ owners!
Thanks for your help

We have one and this was the second season for it and I have had no problems as of yet. It has never let me go down a road that would be a problem. Some people don't like it but then again some Ford owners do not like Chevys so it boils down to your taste and expectations. I am very pleased with ours and would recomend it to anyone with an RV. I hope that I helped and the ford\chevy thing was just to help explain that you are going to get good and bad reviews and not to start a truck brand war.

I also have the RM 7720 and find it easy to use and very RV friendly. You input your length weight, route preferences etc, and the GPS routes you accordingly. My only gripe is that when you reach your destination and want a detailed map of the local area, it doesn't show street names. My previous unit was a Delorme that worked with the laptop - it showed much more detail, but the laptop was a pita to deal with. l
