I have my Durango parked at a nice RV park, and this weekend I arrived for a week long stay only to find my hydraulic system is not working. The bedroom slide works fine, it’s an electric motor, so the touch pad is communicating but the other 3 are on the hydraulic system and the inline fuse keeps blowing. I was afraid to try and move the jacks for fear of not getting them down again. OF COURSE this happens on a Sunday......Murphy’s law!!! Also I noticed my leveling icon has disappeared off the touch screen so trying to figure out how to reset that along with the other issue.
Anyone have ave issues they can share?
Needless to say me and the dogs are staying in the front end of the unit anxiously awaiting the mobile tech to arrive in the morning! We have a bed, TV, and bathroom....it’s take out time! Have to make the best of things and stay positive!🤨

Thanks rvdude will read them. Waiting for mobile repair person to show so the can trouble shoot the issue on why the slides won’t work and the fuses keep blowing. Also on hold with Lipert to see if they can offer any quick help

See if you can work the system with the smartphone app. If it works that way, then I'd say the problem is with the touch pad. As much as the tablet is neat, its more work than individual switches, the "old technology".

Problem solved! Apparently my battery disconnect switch was not labeled correctly and what I thought was the on position providing power to the hydraulic system was actually off and low voltage will cause the 10A fuse to blow. So note to everyone make sure your battery is charged or your slides and auto jacks will not work correctly.
Also the leveling icon reappeared on the touchscreen when battery power was restored.
As I always say.... never stop learning!

No idea how happy I was!! It was a sleepless night running through all the scenarios of what could be and how to handle it, especially traveling with dogs. One lesson, I do need to learn more about these systems and what PM I can do on my end. The walkthrough is always so quick. I may see if I can get an appointment at the dealership for an extensive lesson.

Bobcat I don't know if you are able, I know the National Kz rally right now is full, but you might ask to be put on the waiting list for the rally in August ... At the rally they have the LCI techs there all week long an after they have done all the maintenance requested they do at times have the time to answer an show you things about your leveling system, frame an other things LCI related to your trailer ... They did such with me, took the time to go over everything till I was sure I new my system, they also did a presentation at the luncheon put on by Kz at the factory an answered any an all question an was there all afternoon talking with owners one on one to answer any questions related to anything made by LCI ... I also have been told that if you call them they will answer any an all question you have an put you in contact with one of their Techs to make sure you understand how your system works ... As well there is a number of us that have had numbers of questions about the LCI leveling systems on our trailers if you look in the Durango folder you can find such ... Some may be related to your trailer an some may be related to other units but all basically have the same LCI leveling system as what you have an only the screens an levelers may be placed in different locations ... Since you have a Durango Gold drop on over to the Durango folder an ask away, or as you have done here as well ... Some of us like myself would even be willing to talk to you via a phone call or if close by drop over an help you out, if you happen to be at the same camp ground come over at chat over a cup of coffee ... That is what this form an owners here are all about, helping each other thought problems, comparing notes, helping out with any an all questions you might have ... Believe me the is a wealth of information here on the form an very knowledgeable people here, the only question that is dumb is the one not asked no matter how large or small ask away... Safe travels an happy Glamping Chuck

Thanks Chuck! As always you are helpful. I do not think I will make it to the rally, especially if I need to bring my rig. My home office is about 4 hours away so best case would be for me to drive up for a day. As always these issues happen on a weekend, in my case Sunday afternoon. So no one was around to talk to at KZ or Lipert. I did ask around here in the park, and talked to one gentleman who actually hauls occasionally for KZ, and he helped walk me through what troubleshooting he had experience with. In all cases we missed the battery disconnect since no one had a tester or volt meter handy or that would have been the end of the issue. So we spent one night without a fridge, really no different than a hotel room other than it was my bed. Issue was resolved early on Monday and thankfully the mobile tech was here for someone else so there was no call fee. In all actuality he would not take any money, so it was more a lesson learned than anything as it took him less than 10 min since I did most of the troubleshooting for him. Two ot three quick checks with his test light and a fuse and the slides were back. I have since made a mark on the battery switch to remind me where it really goes.
Overall its a learning experience and if I can share this with others to help them out of a jam I'm happy to do so. Which is why I posted, in both question and answer. Big thing with me is I had my last KZ unit for 15 years (which is a testament of their quality) and sooooooo much has changed. Almost like being a rookie again!
Like always, if you get to TX I will be happy to chat over coffee!!!!!!

Thanks rvdude, not like the crazy weather shorting out my fridge board. Look for the Norcold post, there is a hidden benefit to a residential fridge.
look out the crazy flying monkey storms are heading your way!!! Stay dry and safe

Bobcat, luckily (so far) we haven't had any rain or bad weather here at home. There have been a couple of fast showers, but hasn't even been enough to get anything wet. Hate to hear you are having frig problems. Hope it turns out good and it is nothing major.
