Does the 384RLT have a water filtration system? I’ve been looking thru the brochure and don’t see it mentioned. I’m hoping it does. If not, has anyone added one?

Edd505 in another thread stated his Durango Gold 366 there is a filter on the back of the water pump, behind the wall. He stated that it was not a paper filter but there is a filter on the back of the water pump, behind the wall. As many times as I have been behind out wall on our G384RLT I can not say I have seen one even on the back of the water pump .... As stated in another thread I believe you could put a filter system on but if you look at the back of the water panel it may scare you ...   As well maybe kzadmod can pipe in on this one since he has been posting as of late  Safe Travels an don't forget about the Kz rally in August near the factory  Chuck |

Chuck wouldn't it be just easier to use stand alone filters. I would think it would be easier to change the filters that way.

I agree capemayal, We use this filter hooked into the hose which has worked well  Chuck |

This is what the filter looks like behind the wall, on the back side of the pump. The bottom unscrews to clean.  |

This is what the filter looks like behind the wall, on the back side of the pump. The bottom unscrews to clean. That cover unscrewed (worked itself loose) and caused a water leak for us. If you are looking for a good filter for drinking water, get a Berkey ... expensive, but maybe the best out there. I saw a demonstration where a guy poured V8 juice in there ... what came out was just the water content of the V8 juice and the taste was only clear water ... amazing.<style></style> |
