It was a great article and motivated us to look into and ultimately purchase a Durango 2500. We will not be full timers and the 2500 meets our needs. The quality of construction and the floor plans and features were way better than all that we had looked at over the last 3 months.

dub The DW as I have stated many time's in the last year we felt the same way after going thought a number of high end 5th wheels at an RV show an seeing badly layed out floor plans, trim already loose, door that wouldn't shut, lights already burm't out ... Salesman that stated they could fix such if we bought their brand, you have to wonder how proud they were at the brand they were selling if they didn't keep the trailers they were showing net an clean an looking sharp ... We saw none of this in the Kz trailer we bought, it was solid, everything worked an as you stated the quality of construction and the floor plans and features were way better than all that we also had looked at. Even when we went to pickup our 5th wheel I looked thought some of the Kz trailers on the dealers lot, they had two just like ours an looking thought them I saw the quality that was in ours, so the DW an I new we had made the right decision ... Safe Travels an look forward to see you join the Kz family in the future Chuck

While I have had a multitude of issues with mine it was the first build year on the G353RKT. In spite of the issues I would still buy the 353 it is comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for, as soon as we saw the layout we knew it was going home with us.

I completely agree with you. The MOST important part of a 5th wheel (after making sure it has good bones) is the floorpan. It is where you will spend your time, so it needs to match your lifestyle. Same with us on ours (381 REF) ... it just works for us.
