Can anyone tell me where the water filter is on a 2017 D336ret fifth wheel? I took off the panel today and found none behind the water controls or near it. Do these units not have one?

If you are talking about a paper or activated charcoal filter in a canister as far as I know there is none of these types of water filter on a current KZ product as standard equipment.

Same here... as far as I know it is not standard and must be added by the owner.

Thanks for easing my tensions. Never had a camper without one.

Yep a water filter has to be added if you want one, I have always use an external filler hooked to my hose ...
Looking at the back of that rats nest of tubing called a water panel I know you could add one but were an then how easy would it be to get to it would be another story in itself ... I suppose you could run the tubing thought the storage wall to a filter an then back thought the wall to the water system itself ...

Even though I’ve had them in my former RV’s I still use the external filter. I guess somethings will never change. I’d rather have only an external one anyway. Less troubles. Thanks for the info.

csp1116 Well you know it's better to be safe than sorry as one says, the only reason I can tell you why Kz dozen't put them is cost I'm sure, maybe it should be an option to put filters in the Durango Gold line or for that matter some of the TT ... Believe I will write this one down to ask at the Kz rally this years Safe Travels an happy Glamping Chuck
