Left to Right. 1. Ground Bus on Wood? I do not know the codes put forth for the RV industry, but never ever saw a grounding bus on wood, but it looks like all the wires are coming from the 12 volt side of the main electrical panel. If it was the 240/120 volt side of the panel I think I would question it. I am not sure about 12 volts, but in the event of a fault for your higher voltages, grounding wires can carry some heavy current, but usually only for a split second depending on the the protection devices in the stream. 2. I see a little 2 inch or 2.5 inch duct back there and was wondering where that might go? 3. This junction point I could not read the label. Just curious what it might be? It is in the main compartment and is a shelf area which is above the front compartments. I thought maybe the electric slide but not sure. Anyone?

I bet #2 is a heating duct to be able to say you have a heated underbelly to make it a cold weather unit.

Just curious if the just lay it down there or does the vent pipe it self have some form of air distribution property i.e. hole in the duct or additional perpendicular pipes coming of that. I guess the factory only knows. Bob

I think you'll find the larger cables are right from the battery. I believe the RV industry uses those blocks as distribution points for the 12V system. Not a lot of metal grounding points. Here is a wiring guild www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx

I have already printed it out and put in my binder

Sorry for the delay answering, been a busy day with appointments. The white hose in your second picture is not PEX like the red/blue, it is water hose and has a different diameter than PEX. I had one leaking and cut it off, I have PEX clamps and tools, I have no idea how they forced the clamp over the hose. If you replace that crimped clamp use 2 screw clamps facing opposite directions, that insures 360 degree seal. If they are not leaking toss a couple clamps in your "kit" (fix it supply's) for on the road. Yes HF is Harbor Freight sorry if I confused you. Just got notice the 3 gallon Compresses are on sale for $40, both hot dog and pan cake. Couldn't get the sale price here but They sent me an email on sale items. www.harborfreight.com/3-gal-13-HP-100-PSI-Oilless-Pancake-Air-Compressor-60637.html

I do appreciate you help. Hey thanks for the compressor lead. I may go to HF and touch it and feel it About the water hose type. I can only see that one travels from the LCC to the water heater and both hot and cold use this type of hose. There are a couple of other branches that head out to the back of the rig and I cannot see. But, I am still a little confused. I am sure the diameter is the main reason for the use of this hose, but not sure why. When you say it's water hose, what do you mean exactly? So, the water heater hose must transition somewhere to the red pex as each of the sinks, shower and outside shower hot side uses the red pex. So when this transitions to the smaller diameter pex, does that not defeat the purpose of greater flow? confused. Thanks Bob

Here is a shot of mine last summer when I was in chasing leaks & disconnected ducts The white hose is the one that is tied to the T with blue PEX in your picture. . That hose is a different diameter and some how they forced the PEX clamps over that hose, mine leaked. I also found other loose clamps on the PEX, if you can twist any of the lines the clamps not tight. Some where very slow leaks, a paper towel at the connections will show the water leak. If you get a bunch of pictures while behind the wall it may give you an idea of where to look if you develop problems. If anyone else has a picture of the pump switch wires I might be able to use it. KZ has no diagrams available & when I turn that switch on I get my porch light. Haven't traced them yet was hoping to wait till the rally and let them do some of the repairs.

Edd Looking at yours an mine there has to be a diagram someplace, how in the word did they ever figure that out without one ... I am just confused looking at such, the other question which was in another folder ( kzfamilyforum.com/thread/2007/water-filter ) how in the world would you put a water filter into these systems Safe Travels my friend Chuck

Ed, yours is similar to mine, but I have yet to find a good reason as to why this tubing was used. I even sent an email to the GM from where we bought our rig. Hopefully he can get back with me. I too had 1 leak back there but they fixed it at the dealer before I took possession, so I did not know much at that time. They did put a screw on type clamp, but only one. I will dig deeper into this over the next few weeks if I have time. Trying to get the house ready, and tons of stuff to do. I won't be able to make the rally but hopefully next year. Bob

It takes awhile to do truck and RV tires with it. The great thing about it is that it's light, you can move this thing all over the place. After using it yesterday, I have to say that I would probably buy the 6 gallon one next time. Filling one RV tire from 65 to 80 pounds cycled that compressor 5 or 6 times. I bet this one will rock for car, lawn tractor, wheel barrow, dolly and other small tires. Make sure you read the break-in procedure. You're supposed to open all valves and run the compressor for 30 minutes straight.

I went with the smaller for storage reasons, the 6 gallons good, got one & some nail guns for the DW for the remodeling we do. She likes being able to move it around herself. Bob52 or anyone with the wall out, can you snap a picture of the back of the water pump switch, I'd like to see the color coding on the terminals.
