Anyone have any suggestions? There is no hitch in the back and the bumper isn't a tube so I cannot use an adapter. Plus the ladder is on the side due to the patio. Right now I have it in the bed of my truck which works but isn't ideal.

Do you have one of those platforms that fold up in the back of the camper?

I just checked out your camper on the Durango website. You could also put a hitch off the front of your truck if you feel like looking through it while you drive. In the past I actually had a friend of mine who is a welder strengthen the rear welds and attach a receiver. Worked great on my last travel trailer. My last RV was a motorhome and I didn’t need it because it already had a receiver. He also suggested that if you really needed to have the whole bumper removed and a stronger one put on to accommodate whatever you need it can be done. My new Durango has the fold up carrier that holds 450 pounds. I found four brackets that attached to it that will hold my bikes. That doesn’t help you though.

Gary I have seen bike racks on the kingpin hitch, front of truck as with you carried in the bed of the truck ... I really would not recommend putting such on the back of the trailer unless you really have to ... I look at it this way, if Lippert an Kz wanted such there would have been such added, of course it's your home on wheels an you can do anything or any mods you want, it's just how well will it hold up an will it change the dynamics of the trailer overall, ie pulling, minor weight distribution etc, these may seem minor but in some case's may popup it ugly head an bit you ... May I suggest you call Lippert an ask them since they make your frame, they will say either yes or no to you idea ... Safe Travels Chuck
