Good Day All
I am in the process of installing a new roof and want to replace my AC units when this happens. Could you assist which units seems to be better that the rest. I would like some that are quite, my colemans make a lot of noise. The reason for change out is these units are 11 years old and have worked on them numerous times. Any help would be greatly appreciated

As you shop around, consider the height or the unit, a lower profile will give a bit more clearance for obstructions and a little less wind drag. Some units have a higher efficiency rating which matters when you have a marginal electric supply, I have seen 15,000 units that draw no more than a 13,500. Price a unit that acts as a heat pump, that can save your propane and might be worth the extra cost depending how you use the RV. There are many reviews on line to help with the noise, but of course you cannot believe everything you read. Things change all the time so recommendations from first hand experience is next to impossible. If you can visit an RV show, go play with the AC's and try to get the model number of one that might suit.
