We have been out about a week and today came home to water under the passenger side basement of the 5W. ? There is no water in that area. I find a trail to the driver side behind the water panel. Looking with flashlight I find a second PEX clamp leaking. Get out the PEX tool and replace the clamp. This was the second leaking clamp. I bought the tool after the first leak when I was traveling with a buddy full times. He had the tool & clamps in his class A I don't think many carry the PEX tool & spare clamps. I suggest you add a couple 3/8" screw clamps for the just in case leak as everything behind the walls 1/2" PEX. You'll need a heavy pair of side cutter to remove the leaking clamp.

Is this a fitting where KZ used a PEX clamp to attach a flexible hose? That is not the proper way, but I have seen too much of that kind of shortcut. A PEX clamp should only be used to attach PEX tubing to a fitting with PEX style barbs. A hose should only be attached to a fitting with hose barbs using a hose clamp.

Yes and I replaced the leaking clamp with a new one, really hard to get the new clamp in place, crimping was easy. I plan on a couple of the screw clamps in my tool box I have a bunch in the shop.
