Hey Guys,
2014 Durango Goldrush Discovery
I am planning to do a faucet upgrade in my Goldrush. I am wanting install a residential faucet and a sprayer to the counter top.
Does anyone know what the "solid surface countertop" material is or similar to?

Was told by the KZ Durango product managers that it is a thinner version of the residential LG HIMACS solid surface counter tops.

Thanks Guys,
I'm pretty nervous about cutting into the countertop. I am going to buy a nice stainless residential faucet for the kitchen and bathroom sink and just skip the sprayer for now. It has the factory installed pull down in it now. Just personal preference but I just don't care for the pull down style for some reason.

Had to replace our faucet in the house the other day, looking on line, the upper end residential faucets were running $300 or more Ugh !!
So I went to my local ACE hardware, got a really nice stainless residential faucet for under $150 with a hand cleaner attachment, so much for cheaper on line, same product for half the price, guess ACE is the place LOL

Just use a good sharp hole saw and check on underside before cutting and you should be fine. Installed a RO faucet and was apprehensive about cutting the countertop. It cut like butter.

Ok I got some courage back and went for it. The material cut well, and everything turned out very nice. I installed Moen stainless faucets in both the bathroom and kitchen. I used a hole saw and cut slowly to keep the heat down and vacuumed up the material as I cut.
