I own a 2018 Durango Gold F366. While recently camping the stove in the unit we noticed that two burners do not adjust the flame past midway. Being unable to turn the heat down caused my food to burn in the pans. When we took in the trailer for other warranty work, I asked the technician to check the stove burners out. He told us today that this is "normal" and all of the units on the lot do the same thing. This is unacceptable. I have been cooking for nigh onto 50 years and have NEVER had a stove burner to do this. Your assistance please.

Since he calls himself a “technician” what was the reading when he checked the pressure of the propane?

Well he said he talked to KZ and they told him that they are designed that way. I say B.S to that. I contacted KZ directly to see what they say.

I had an oven doing that and they ended up replacing the manifold, all is well now.

I have a 2018 366 and my burners all adjust including the oven. I can simmer easily. So definitely BS!

Definitely not normal, faulty stove or gas pressure too high. If it's the latter, scorched food is the least of your worries. Pressure too high will affect all your gas appliances and could be a fire or explosion hazard. If your "technician" had to call KZ to ask what was wrong he's not qualified to service your gas system. His "explanation" should be brought to dealer management attention.

Sounds like a technician who didn't want to be bothered to actually check. Give the stove manufacturer a call and talk with them.

Your stove valve should adjust, as stated either the Tech didn't know an was feeding you a line about calling Kz or he was lazy an didn't want the extra work. I'll 2nd the statement this should be brought to dealer management attention ASAP, this is a safety concern ... If they still say Kz stated such, ask them to get Kz CS on the line an let them ask the question about such while you listen in on another phone, I'll bet a dime to a dollar they won't ... This almost sounds like a camping world answer Safe travels don't forget about the Kz rally this summer near the factory Chuck
