Has anyone had experience with the dual pane windows? Good or bad. Also can you put the stairs down with the slide closed?

Save your money on the dual pane windows, that is exactly what they are dual pane NOT thermal pane. They do very little to increase the thermal efficiency of the windows.
Yes the steps can be but down with the slide closed.
And don't forget about the rally this summer

And don't forget about the rally this summer I have them and the label on them says "insulated window" ... not the same as residential thermal panes, but better than single pane glass. Slight improvement in insulation, definite improvement in condensation and slight improvement in sound insulation. I like mine ... FWIW.<style></style>

Welcome shadow A number of us have the G384's an as jetzen stated save your money on the dual pane windows, but if you ordered them with your unit you may like them, one never knows till you try them out. I like jetzen are not a fan of them but that's just me, I as well do not think they help that much for what they cost an if they crack you may get that white milky looking stuff you see in dual pane windows in homes, but even then I am not sure of that either .... Also as stated no problem on the steps if your slide is closed As well you will like that you can get into your pantry an frig with the slides closed but not the closest where the washer and dryer could be placed. Many Safe travels an don't forget about the rally this summer Chuck

Hi everyone. Can someone tell me the overhang on front of the Durango gold? I Bought a reese hitch and will be getting it installed. I ordered the Gold with the air ride pin box. The rails on my pickup box is right at 54" I'm trying to figure out how to tell them to adjust hitch high and the pin box after I receive the 5th wheel. Thanks Jerry

Jerry Your pin box should be placed right over your rear axle... My DG384 measures 78inches from the front compartment door to the center of the pin ... My 2005 F350 dually truck rails measure 57inches from the ground up an I have right around 6inches of clearance if not a little more, maybe a1/2 inch more ... Safe Travels Chuck

Hi Chuck, Thanks for your response. I am mainly concerned about the 5th wheel being level when hooked up to the hitch. Thanks Jerry

Jerry I will add I have air bags on my truck an pressurized to 40psi, had forgotten about that so my truck bed will drop a few inches when the trailer is attached, so when hitched it may be at 54 or 55 inches but I still have right around 6 to 7 inches from bed rail to bottom of trailer sitting level ... I am level with those measurements, but saying this if the dealer is installing your 5th wheel then they should set it up to be as level as possible ... If not your dealer installing your 5th wheel an if your trailer is not level on hooked up I would take it back to who ever installed you hitch ... I have to say the our G384 pulls like a dream out here in the west, as I have stated I believe it pulls better than our old 33ft Coachmen Chappy .... Safe Travels an don't forget about the 2018 National Kz Rally in August near the factory Chuck

Hi Chuck, Thanks for asking. I called the factory rep today and was told that it is just coming out of paint. I understand the weather has slowed them down. Its looks like another week or two. My wife and I are getting anxious. I will let you know when it showed up. Jerry

Ok Jerry Since we bought ours right off the RV show floor we didn't have to wait, but jetzen ordered his an had to wait last year an I know he an his wife like you were anxiously waiting before it arrived ... Keep us post please an again we would love to see it in August at the rally, there are still a few spots open Of course maybe you shouldn't, because all of use with regular 384's would turn blue with envy an want to trade in our plan Jane ones for the Super Duper full paint model only kidding !!! Thanks again Chuck, it shouldn't be much longer. We are getting anxious to see it. We are in Quartsite Az for the winter. I would love to go to the rally but I'm not sure of our timeline yet.
