Hi, just joined the board, I have a 2005 KZ 2205 camper that we use quite a bit. I would like to add a heating pad to the fresh water tank but do not know how to get access to it. Any help? Do you get at it from underneath or from inside? Thanks!

I don't know your particular model, but usually the tank is under the floor covered by Coroplast material. You remove the material for access. The tank is probably located where the drain sticks down.
Here is another idea that I used. Instead of using a heating pad, I ran a water line from a hot water pipe under a sink to the tank vent. I added a shutoff valve and a multi-turn metering valve to control flow. With this setup, I can send a controlled amount of hot water to the fresh water heating it even while driving. It has the added benefit of protecting some of the plumbing. It might be easy or difficult depending on access.

Some travel trailers have the fresh water tank under the bed. If you haven't already, try lifting up the plywood mattress support and look there. Both of my KZ trailers had it there.

First, I would look under the couch, next would be below floor level, you might have to remove underbelly, not a big deal.
