The DW an I have been thinking about signing up for Coast to Coast, we already have Good Sam for a number of years
an KOA membership only in the past year but looking for thoughts on the Coast to Coast membership an dropping
the KOA ....
What scares me is they list no membership fees even thought they show allot of benefits I wonder what type of membership
level you have to be to get any of the better membership benefits an is it worth it in the long run ...
Since we now are both retired an spent over four months last year camping an plan as much this coming year would this
benefit us in the long run ... We have sort of stayed away from KOA till last year an only used Good Sam an had good
luck staying in Good Sam parks with ratings over 8 most all the time. We like the room in most but not all KOA's but
being older folks without kids we don't mind KOA's but rather not stay in the one's with all the stuff for kids, they also
seem to be higher priced most times as well ...
But price's seem to be going up again this coming year an with going back east again across the board we are looking
at cheaper ways to stay along the way other than National an State parks. I will add the DW is not into dry camping,
its more or less full hook ups 50amp service or somewhat close or not at all Ugh... Walmart parking lots are out as
well, DW will not even park her car near a Walmart let along stay in one over night LOL
As you can see we have become true Glampers not Campers thus the question
Safe Travels an Merry Christmas
