Martin Dies... not far from where I was born and raised. That is a nice state park, at least it was the last time I was there. It's been quite a few years since I've been thee. Enjoy your trip. The weather is supposed to be nice, finally!

Martin Dies is just like you remember, hasn't changed in the last 50 years, well they have improved some of the hike/bike trails.
Arrived and got set up, even got me sister to try some of our homemade MEAD.

I think I was last there when I was 18, and that was a couple of years ago... ok, it was 38 years ago, but who's counting?

We used to come when I was a kid to camp in the screen houses they have. We had a pack canoe and fished all over the lake, lots of alligators and gear in the lake but was still fun. Really peaceful park with large sites for rvs.

lfhenderson Sounds like your trip to the camp site when smoothly an setup was a breezes We looked at a RV park in Southern Alabama a few years back while down there, it was a very large RV park with over a 100 sites which were nicely placed an wide ... Big sign as you entered the park stating to make sure you do not leave you dog outside unattended or loose because you may not have one do to the gator population around the park. There was a nice island in the lake in the RV park called gator island, DW said she loved the park but would not stay there for fear of the gators. I ask the camp host how bad was it, he said that they only had one or two a month roaming around the back part of the park during the night an had not hurt anyone an minded their own business unless you bothered them ... They did have a large fence across the back of the park with sign's stating no swimming LOL Daaaaaaa Safe Travels, glad to hear your out an about Glamping Chuck Attachments:

lfhenderson, I've tried to talk him into coming back to Texas, but he says the boss (wife) won't let him. Maybe with both of us working on him we can get somewhere...

YOU Guy's I'd be pushing the DW an hitching up the dogs an out the door, hooking up the 5th wheel in about 30 seconds if she even gave me a hint that she was willing to pack up an go I can't even get her to think about going to AZ. even thought she did say a while back that it might be nice to spend a few weeks in warm weather. I had half the trailer packed before she finished her sentence regarding such, then she dashed all hopes buy ending the sentence by say maybe next year Ugh Safe travels Chuck PS; I shown her the pictures, she said that's nice, but you know we have things to do up here

So lfhenderson You now have had your G384 for near a months now, so what do you think !!! View AttachmentChuck We love it. Have had no issues so far, pulls great, very comfortable furnishings. We are currently planning our next trip and getting the driveway culvert fixed to ease getting in and out of home 😀. I measured the other day and the road is only 15ft wide and the driveway 14ft wide. Makes getting 58ft of truck and 5er in interesting.

LOL We live on a gravel lane, but it is a little but not much wide than your street an our driveway is a bit wider but not much ... That little extra always helps, we also have a empty field next to us an i can hedge a bit on backing in since there is not ditch on either side. But I do have a 3 bottom plow (yard art) on one side an worry about hitting it with the trailer, won't hurt the plow it's made of real steel Glad your enjoying your new trailer Safe travels an don't forget about the Kz Rally in August Chuck

We just got our new G384RLT home from the dealer. 95 mile first tow and I'm impressed. Trailer was smooth to pull. Had a great experience with our sales man Sean Miller and the PDI crew. They took as long as we wanted and marked down the 2 very minor issues we found. We have it set up in the driveway so we can get more comfortable with all the systems. Here are a few pictures of our new rolling home. We have the same model. Let me know about any issues as I had a few. Good luck and enjoy. Make sure your fridge is secure, standing in front of it and pull towards yourself from the top. If it rocks, it will fall out. FYI.
