Right after getting this used trailer, we noticed that the toilet often didn't shut off after pressing the foot lever. We finally resorted to just lifting the lever with our foot and waiting to make sure the water quit filling before leaving the room.
The new problem is when using the pump and water from the fresh water tank. Because the water pressure with the pump is so much lower than with city water hookup, it won't shut the toilet value off, even if we have lifted the lever and know it is shut. So it is gradually filling the toilet and would eventually overflow if we didn't turn off the pump.
I've read about overflow problems with this toilet on other rv forums, but I wondred if anyone here has encountered a problem with the toilet overfilling, or with the water pump on.
