Have you got it straightened out? Most RVs today come with two independent systems, one for cable/antenna and the other for satellite. "If" they are installed correctly there shouldn't be any issues, providing your antenna and booster are good, we know how that goes sometimes. The booster/amplifier should only be turned on (light lite) while using the RV roof antenna, hooked to campground cable it should be off. It has nothing to do with the satellite system. I have seen cases where coax cable fittings caused issues. The interior wire mesh/foil wrap was touching the center conductor in the fitting shorting out the connection. Also the center conductor needs to extend beyond the end of the fitting at least 1/8th inch to insure it makes contact when it's screwed in. I have seen many cut flush or even below the end of the fitting. Happy Campin....
