Always check online reviews but keep in mind that there is always two sides to a story. Never the less, it can give you a good idea of what to look for. one such place

I can tell you the salesman we have been talking with is great so far. Zero pressure and very knowledgeable about the products on the lot. Offered to get the G355rlt from their Alvin lot so we could look it over.

Well As i said we love the room in our 384RLT, also the counter space next to the stove is bigger than the G355RLT as you will see I liken the 355RLT as the little bother to the 384RLT, it's 4ft shorter an about 2k UVW One of things I did notice an you might look is that when the slide is closed you might not be able to get into the frig, with the 384RLT you can get into the frig when the slides are closed but not the draws in the island or counter of either What we do is put a small silverware tray in the pantry so when we stop we have such an use paper plates instead of dishes ... Either one is a really nice trailer but that extra 4ft an door in the slide makes a really big difference as you will see. Also the double door in the bathroom to us was a plus, but again this not be what you like, as we all know, owners have different tastes, likes, dislikes Let us all know what you decide on, an again Welcome to the Kz family form Safe Travels Chuck Attachments:

Welcome to the forums and good luck with your purchase. I bought a new trailer from Terry Vaughn in Spring back in 2007. My salesman was very nice and no high pressure, and was very knowledgeable about the products. I sold that trailer this year (at 10 years old) and am blessed to have never needed service on the trailer, so I can't tell you about their service department. I bought from Steve Huffman. He is still there and I've been in several times just to talk to him. I've even looked at trailers a few times and he shows them to me with no high pressure and he does not blow up my phone.
If you have any questions, you can contact me on here or private message me through the forums.

One other thing to think about, at least for me, is the washer and dryer location in the 384 versus the other Gold models. I don't know if it concerns you or not, but the 384 is the only floor plan with a separate washer/dryer closet. The other Gold models, not counting the front living room models, all have the washer on one side and the dryer on the other side of the front closet. Having them in the front closet would be very hard to access, in my opinion, if you would be doing laundry on a regular basis.

Ok, y'all are making me question even looking at the 355, my only reason for wanting to look at it is because of length of rig and park restrictions. Worried about being able to get into NP with it at 40ft of trailer and 21ft of truck.

Not trying to talk you out of the 355, just trying to think of things that would be important to me (such as the washer and dryer location). I Would rather mention it to you now before you buy than see you discover something like that after the fact. It's all about what you like and want. Good luck with your choice.

lfhenderson You will I am sure see the big difference in room, four foot is not that much to deal with, but the differance in the door being in the slide gives you so much more room you will not believe it, it really opens up the trailer We have not found a RV park or state park up till now that has turn us away because of being to big Now I will say we do pick an choose an plan ahead as well as reserve our spots way ahead of time. In our travels we check out state an national parks all the time an know the ones that have smaller spaces an the one's that have the larger spaces ... Also we tend to stay outside the big National parks an drive into the parks on day trips an not stay within the parks, we have met many people who do such as well Let us know what you do, this is always been an exciting time looking at new trailer for all of us at once time or another Safe Travels Chuck

RV Dude makes a good point on the washer dryer location. The 384 has the best location by far (IMO). There are other reasons to select other floor plans, but if the w/d location is important to you, then the 384 is the best in KZ’s current line up.

The other thing I myself an the DW didn't looking at the pictures of the 355 was the counter space next to the stove, very limited Also looking at the Rv Trader web page on 355's www.rvtrader.com/New-Or-Used-Kz-DURANGO-Gold-355RLT-RVs-For-Sale---RVTrader.Com/search-results?make=Kz&model=DURANGO%20Gold%20355RLT&sort=distance%3Aasc&Terry Voughn has a 2018 RLT355FLT listed at 77k an change, another dealer in Louisiana has the same model listed for 53k an change an another dealer has a 2017 RLT355FLT listed for 50k an change. WOW the pric's are all over the board, from 2018, to 2017 is a 20K drop right off the top Ugh as well the 2018's from 77k to 55k from one state an dealer to another.... Wow there is a G384FLT in Athens, TX with full body paint for just under 70k an the in Alvin, TX a regular 384FLT for 61K, both 2018's, in Mccomb, MS one for 59k on RV Trader www.rvtrader.com/New-Or-Used-Kz-Rv-Durango-G384RLT-RVs-For-Sale---RVTrader.Com/search-results?make=Kz%20Rv&model=Durango%20G384RLT&sort=distance%3Aasc&So again they are all over the place on price, so some dickering you should be able to get a pretty good price on any of them, be interesting to see if you could get the full body paint G384FLT for 60K or less Good luck, most dealers not all will knock off 20 to 30 percent off MSRP an have fun looking Safe travels Chuck

The other thing I see in the full body paint 384 is the darker furniture an the over head sconce is lighted, as well the bedroom sliding glass doors are different... In the other regular 384 everything looks the same as with out 2017 except the cabinet doors open from the bottom like jetzen were ours open from the side. Also unlike jetzens the outside awning light switch looks to be back on the wall an not on the overhead in the slide So they took jetzen advice when he showed them at the rally Yaaaaa Again Good luck looking an have fun, please let us know how it turns out Safe travels Chuck

Alright after spending the morning comparing the 355 and 384 the wife decided she like the 384 better. Price difference was not enough to swing it toward the 355 and we can always just plan for the length of the 384.
