Looking at the Kz site today I saw they had changed the 2 year sticker, I noticed that had dropped the wording as well, if use to have the word "Limited" that has now disappeared.... When we bought our 384 I ask about what they meant by "Limited" an they explain that there was no such thing an didn't know why they had put such, so I ask at the Kz Rally when we were there. There comment was it was limited because the appliances MFG were on the hook for the 1st year. So it makes me wonder now if they have dropped this or since the appliance MFG had been standing up an they had not had any problems with such they would just drop the wording

So far most issues have been with appliances; oven not lighting, refrigerator leaking water out the front, TV's not working properly one died and the antenna booster was bad. A few easily fixed water leaks and vents off. Six weeks now waiting for the replacement TV.

Gzzzzzzzzzzzzz Still waiting on the TV, it must be coming from China on a slow boat out of Hong Kong Ugh ! ! We have has a circuit board go out on the furnace, RV service center had the board in stock, makes you wonder if this is a weak point in the furnace since no one stocks parts anymore, it sort of supply an demand Of course they replaced the TV antenna an booster at the rally an frig went out after a really hard thunder storm an very hard rain an wind, tech said it was one of the hardest repairs he had done in a long time. Took him well over two hours to fix such, I was almost at the point of having them replace the frig but they said they would have to pull the slide to get it out Ugh, no thank you didn't need that LOL I'm starting to wonder if we have a water leak, the other day I had the trailer on the water pump because I didn't have the hose hooked up to the house. I kept hearing the water pump go off about ever 4 minutes for about 10 seconds. I looked at everything inside, sinks didn't have any water in them an were dry, under sinks it was dry an nothing dripping, nothing wet under the trailer, so it looks like I am going to have to pull the wall in the storage area an have a look Ugh ! To Cold today (33 degrees an frost on the ground) an I have the water off but the heat on in the trailer at 55 but it looks like I'm going to have to drain everything an blow out the lines. The problem is that would like to check things out 1st since we have an appointment at the dealer 1st of December to go over the trailer front to back for our forever warranty stuff, thus i would have them fix it an not me, who know maybe I could get free storage for a month or two, NOT !!! .... Safe travels Edd Chuck & Hildi

Chuck, I wonder if you have a failing backflow preventer somewhere. The water could be draining down the fresh line and back into the tank. If that's not the case, you'll need to pressure test your fresh water system and try to track it down.

I thought about that, I went out today an winterized the trailer because the temp has dropped down in the low 30 an last night in the high 20's, check this morning an I had no propane in the tank it was on Ugh ... So nothing was frozen thank God do to the fact I don't believe it was could enough long enough to do such so I ran 2 gallons of pink stuff thought the system an drains ...
So I'm do at the dealers around the 1st of December for yearly inspection but I'm going to call them today an ask them to check the system out just to make sure when it's there ...
But I am in the mean time going to check an see if I have a failing backflow preventer somewhere myself

Doesn't the pump it self have a check valve? Speaking of pumps, if I turn it on outside, the porch light over the door comes on --- another thing to trouble shoot.

Edd Not sure but I am going to go over the system today, have everything out of the storage compartment in preparation of the unit going to the Dealer. Figured this was a good time to clean the storage compartment up from the summer outings so I dragged everything everything out, wow I've got to much junk LOL Safe travels Chuck & Hildi

So the limits are materials, workmanship and time. There is no warranty that covers misuse, abuse, fair wear and tear, etc.

LOL Edd Ya they may have to give you a new trailer or replace the appliances inside at least ... The told me when our Frig went out that would have to pull the main slide out if they had to replace it ... I did see them replace a stove an redo some of the chairs last year, Kz is really good about replacing any of the appliances an LCI was just as good replacing one hydraulic cylinder on jetzen's 5th wheel, lubing all the slide stuff for preventive maintenance on everyone trailers Well if you are out here an follows us back to the rally I can always store extra ice in our freezer for you LOL (Big Grin) or carry a extra TV or two, shoot I may be overloaded by carrying extra goodies just for you, never mind the quilting stuff for the DW's ... Safe travels my friend Chuck & Hildi

There is no warranty that covers misuse, abuse, fair wear and tear, etc. Ron I agree, that no warranty covers misuse, abuse, fair wear and tear but some people think that it should be covered, of course those people also can't think for themselves I had a friend that worked at Wally world, he stated that if a customer brought in a battery of any brand other than what Wally World sold they would replace it if it was bad no matter how old ... I ask him why in the world would they do that, he stated that they said the customer was always right no matter what, thus the manager would approve a replacement ... He also stated he would see some of the same people with different batteries sometimes every other month, he would tell the manager that they were getting ripped off, it never made a difference, he finally quit ... Now that was unlimited warranty LOL, makes me wonder if all the Wally Worlds done that or just his store As you saw I believe they may have covered jetzen's miss abuse pulling into his slot at the rally, but it may have came out of his back pocket but I could be wrong, they fixed my miss abuse on the broken ladder at the rally an a hand rail I bent a week later that was my fault without question Safe Travels my friend :0 Chuck & Hildi

Hope you won't have to carry anything. I asked the repair guy should I check back in a couple weeks, and he says I hope it won't take that long. Here's hoping.

Edd When I had the furnace fixed It took three days from the time I dropped the trailer off till they called me to come pick it up, was a circuit board that went bad... When the frig went out at the rally it took the Tech about 2 hours to track down the problem an fix such, one hour to track down the problem an another to go back to the shop an get the part, again it was a circuit board that had went out ... Both have since worked ok, I still wonder about the furnace since at time's it's hard to start, takes a few minutes when first starting up after sitting after a week or so, may be a setting somewhere not just right yet ... Chuck & Hildi Always get the stove burners fired up after a spell of non-use, that will purge much of the air from the propane system. Of course if the stove is quite a distance from the furnace, it will only help a bit.

Chuck, This may not help but i just saw a video on RV geeks within the last month . They were having a similar issue with the pump on the motor home and were able to fix it. I think theirs was going off every 10 or 15 minutes like clockwork.

splicer Since the pump was put in new last November I won't think the pump was going bad, ya right LOL... But since I have had the furnace problem an the Frig problem I start to wonder. I am a believer that Kz make a sound trailer, it's the products that go into the trailer I am starting to wonder about Ugh I did pull the wall in the storage compartment an check for any leaks do to the fact a couple of owners here have had loose fittings. Saw no leaks or puddles of water behind the wall or at the pump or water panel, so it may just to be a pump Ugh ... Safe Travels Chuck

Chuck, the issue found with rv geeks was the valve switch. They did not have any leaks but the valve was bad and losing pressure making the pump cycle. Here is the link to the video youtu.be/MjyU2eClPcA or you can just find them on youtube. I am sure you are under Warrenty still looking at the picture of your rv. So the nice thing is you won't be fixing it they will . I just was posting this for anyone with a simular issue and no warrenty.

splicer Yes we have a year an two months left on the Kz Warranty an also have the forever warranty as well so we are covered... lynnmor awhile back talked about water pumps when someone else had a problem...Had a camping friend last night at our camp-out dinner stated that it may be a pump as well .... We let dealer deal with it since we have an appointment Dec 4 to have the trailer inspected an winterized along with a storage door seal replaced tnxs for the reply, will let everyone know once it's fixed safe travels Chuck
