Picked up a ton of bugs on our first big trip. A neighbor saw Me trying to get them off and turned me onto Magic Eraser. Works great. Highly recommend it. But I did end up with some streaks where I didn’t get it rinsed off early enough. Can I just grab something at walmart so I can knock this out or would something special work better?

Hit it second a time with the magic eraser then try Meguiars Cleaner Wax, Wally World carries it.

x3. After the cleaner wax, I will go back over the nose cap with a Meguiars Gold Class liquid polish. I do that once a year and all I normally have to do is spray off the cap and bugs don't stick.

After the rubbing compound application, my husband swears by Collinite Liquid Insulator #845

While at a campground, someone cleaning RV's came to me and asked if I would like something that would make it easy to remove bugs from the cap. Of course, I said "yes". The product is called "Rejex". It was designed by the aircraft industry and leaves a very slick clean finish. When you get home, the majority of the bugs will wash off by just using a hose and low water pressure. This stuff works great.
