I do not like my oven in my 2014 261RKS. I would rather have a Micro/Convection Oven and a cabinet under the range top. Looking to trade for a 2018 or 2019....hope this option will be available.

In the spree line it has no 261RKS listed on their web page, it starts with a S251RK shows a a Micro/Convection Oven next model up, a S302FKF isn't showing a Micro/Convection Oven, but everything above that shows what appears to be a Micro/Convection Oven per the Kz web site.... Pretty nice looking trailer's I have to say, looks like allot of room an well placed appliances Safe Travels Chuck & Hildi

I had a 2018 251RK on order when they changed the floor plane AFTER the order was placed. After seeing the definite backsteps of the new floor plan I immediately cancelled that order. Now waiting on a Durango 1500 D259RDD 5th wheel instead. Should be here in about 2 more weeks.

If they want the sale they will install a micro/convection. DW is an avid cook and our current Durango only had a micro wave, dealer ordered and installed micro/convection as part of the deal. It was a direct fit to the old cabinet. No convection = no cookies

I hate the oven in my TT. I used to have a counter-top convection/micro at home....really liked it. I never use the TT oven, I don't want an oven if I get it, it will become storage like my present one.

I would look into some of the solar ovens. Supposedly they work pretty well.

I wish there is an option when ordering a unit to delete the range and select a cooktop only and a microwave/convection combo.

I would almost say you could special order a unit an have the range deleted an a cook top only added , but do you what to add to the price of the unit an get less I will say changing out a regular Micro oven for a convection microwave should be a big deal, but say such if they have to cut or reconfigure a cabinet or cabinets then your going to get a price increase for sure unless the dealer is will to take the hit on such. When we bought our 5th wheel I ask to change the pin box to a MorRyde, since there was no modification to the trailer except a direct swap they had no problem. When we did the PDI I found the old pin box that came with the trailer in my storage compartment, so the dealer eat the cost of a new 18k pin box to sell me a trailer, I believe they would do the same for an exchange in micro waves you only have to ask So if you were to try an get a dealer to just put in a special order for just a stove top an not a complete stove I believe the below is how the the conversation would go Salesman " It's going to cost you more because it's a special order" Customer " well why, I'm deleting the stove it should cost less "
Salesman " yes that is why, it's more work to take something out that is already planned to be built in "
The answer will more than likely because you do not want to pay that $1000 bucks more or less more than likely will be: Customer " ok I'll take it as is with the stove because it will cost more without it ",
Salesman "you have made a good choice please sign here so we can get the ball rolling" (Of course he is thinking hurry up an sign so I can get my commission)
--------------------------
Of course there is always exceptions to the rule, an the customer may say ok I'll spend that extra $1000 bucks more or less to have it my way, an some people have been known to do such Myself I am pretty darn cheap, I can squeeze a dollar so hard they can here it screaming in the next two states over the DW has told people
I am not trying to make fun of any comments, only to point out that most times taking something out of a unit creates more work than leaving something in, the majority of owners want a complete stove an not just a stove top an special orders mean more money
The DW in the past hated our gas oven in the 5th wheel till she got use to it, now she more or less deals with it an knows how to cook with both gas an electric since we have electric at home, but she is still on the fence about the one in the 5th wheel .
Safe travels
Chuck
