So having a dishwasher is new for us. How do you winterize it? We usually just blow out all the water lines and pou rv antifreeze in the drains.

Well I believe what I would do is to pour antifreeze into the bottom of the dishwasher for one, but I do not know if that would do it for the water intake into the dishwasher... I would think that opening up all the focuses in the sink would drain the water out of the line that provide such to the dishwasher. Why do I say that, if you look at you dishwasher in you house, the water supply that comes to you kitchen sink is also the supply line that provides water to you dishwasher, as well the shiny round 4" high deal with three slots on your sink most likely to the left of the focuses is also the drain an air vent for you dishwasher. In your trailer this vent/drain is not there because they have a different type of drain, but if you open up both focuses I believe this should take care of any water left over going to the dishwasher, but I's also pour a quarter of a gallon of antifreeze into the kitchen drain as well just to makes sure ... You also might call your selling dealer in regards to this question an if they can not answer the question if no one else pipes up on this site/reflector call Kz Customer Service an ask them, they are very friendly an helpful with most anything Safe Travels Chuck & Hildi PS; We will get our 384FLT winterized the 1st of December by our dealer, I can ask then if you do not have an answer by then ...

From a buddy's Class A manual Here are the winterization instructions for the DishDrawer from my Winnebago Owner's Manual:
Dishwasher Winterizing 1. Empty all dishes from the dishwasher. 2. Follow coach winterization instructions for using the winterization valve to draw RV water system antifreeze into the water system so antifreeze can enter the dishwasher. 3. Set the dishwasher controls to the start of the Rinse cycle and run briefly until antifreeze can be seen inside the dishwasher. 4. Set the controls to the end of the Rinse cycle to pump the liquid out of the dishwasher to make sure the lines and pump contain antifreeze. 5. Turn dishwasher controls to Off. 6. Pour about a quart of RV water system antifreeze directly into the dishwasher to ensure protection of pump and drain lines. 7. Dishwasher is now winterized.

Found this on the Thor site: Winterizing Special appliances:
Coaches with Splendide washer and dryer installed:
With the machine's power OFF, turn the WASH TEMP knob to HOT. Advance the Program Selector to REGULAR in Cotton Heavy Duty. Press the ON/OFF Button (IN) and let the machine fill until anti-freeze is in the drum. Advance Program Selector to RESET. Wait 5 seconds (Status/Door Lock LED will blink). Advance Program Selector knob to a SPIN position. Let the antifreeze drain from the drum. Advance Program Selector to RESET. Wait 5 seconds (Status/Door Lock LED will blink). Turn the Wash Temp knob to COLD. Advance the Program Selector to REGULAR in Cotton Heavy Duty. Let the machine fill until you see anti-freeze in the drum. Advance Program Selector to RESET. Wait 5 seconds (Status/Door Lock LED will blink). Advance Program Selector knob to SPIN. Let the antifreeze drain from the drum. Press the ON/OFF Button.
Washer/Dryer (Whirlpool)
Remove the water hose from the back of the washing machine. Do this before you completely drain the washer of water. Make sure you remove any obstructions in the water hose by blowing through the hoses. This will help dispel some of the collected water. Now turn the washer on and run it on a fill cycle using warm water settings. Let the washer run this cycle for a few minutes to get rid of the water that has collected in the valve. To remove the water, set it up to run on the spin cycle. This will help complete the cleaning cycle. Pour about 2 gallons of RV antifreeze in the washing machine’s tub. Get a clean and dry towel and dry up the washer’s compartments. Also clean the lint filter before winterizing it. Make sure you also get rid of the gunk in the lint filter compartment as it usually gets filled up with dirty water. Completely remove the washer hoses including the water hose and the drain hose. Dry them up using the towel. Keep them inside the washer tub. Turn the washer off and remove the plug from the outlet.
If you have a Refrigerator Ice Maker:
Shut off the RV water supply to the ice maker. Raise the ice maker shut-off arm until it locks in the off position. Disconnect the garden hose water inlet connection from the water solenoid valve. Protect connections by bagging and taping all lines and water solenoid valve connections with clean plastic bags and tape.
If you have a Dishwasher:
Make sure there is no residual water in the dishwasher. Open the water valve until you see antifreeze in the basin. Pour about ½ gallon of antifreeze into the basin of the dishwasher. Run the dishwasher for a few seconds to distribute the antifreeze.

Thanks again to everyone. We blew air through the dishwasher and then put antifreeze in the basin and turned on the rinse cycle. It pumped the antifreeze through so hopefully we have it taken care of. Always learning something new!!

Being a full timer, I don’t winterize ... but I knew a guy who wasn’t full time who stored his RV in S. Texas. When the season started for him, he would drive down from St Louis and head out. Never winterized anything, so that's a possible approach to try.

Thanks for the travel idea. But call us crazy, we still like our winter and snow. We are both hunters and will be heading into the back country for a couple of weeks. But might head south for a week or two later if mother nature isn't too rough on us.
