has anyone done a mod to supply heat to the 2 locations: 1. the bathroom 2. the toy compartment in a 2017 or 2018 331TH12. It got down to -1 degrees the other night and even with the furnace on, the toy compartment and the bathroom were freezing cold. I took the furnace cover off and snapped this pic looking back under the bathroom sink. has anyone run a 4 inch line off the heat area to an installed by owner vent in the filler panel under the sink to get some warmth for the women folk and those who have to have a midnight sit session? Or like the second motion sensor LED light the trailer is supposed to be equipped with - did the building crew forget to install this as well? what are you using in the toy compartment for heat on cooler or cold nights ? pics might assist.

Your one up on a number of us with at least one motion sensor LED light, that was one of the new things they showed us at the Kz Rally along with the different inside colors ...
Someone here did run an extra heat hose to one room but I don't remember who or how they did it. We already have such in our 384, but the heater hose out of the furnace outlet had to be taped because there was none in ours, was corrected when furnace was repaired ...
As far as the toy compartment again someone complained as well an I don't recall if it was a heat hose that was off or a duct that was blocked or missing..

I have a bumper pull toyhauler and there is one heater vent in the wall about 2 feet off of the floor. It is a round vent that looks similar to an ac vent. It is not a long and narrow vent like the other heater vents that are in the floor. I can't believe that they would build the trailer without any heater vents in the garage, but they could have made a mistake.

Not sure about the toy room but the bath should be pretty easy to add. My furnace has unused holes for ducts so adding one should be relativity easy. Get a grill, cut a hole to match and add hose. The hose on mine sure looks like dryer hose. If there's no space under the toy room, maybe through a wall? Duct from a vent close by? If your on power a small space heater(s) that could work for both?

Not sure what a Buddy heater is. A small electric with a kill switch if it's knocked over. If you can access the bath floor from below it would be pretty simple, minimal parts and an hour or two of work. The garage not sue it could be done I don't think there is space below. Never had a toy hauler.

I use a tower heater in the living room and a small heater in the bedroom of my fifth wheel. They both do real good and heat up the place pretty hot. I very seldom use the big heater. I'm sure one would do good in the garage of your toyhauler. But, however, it does not get that cold here.

I see all kinds of room in that picture, shouldn't be a problem running something to the bathroom floor, as Edd stated, just make sure you do not cut thought a cross-member, measure 14 times, cut once Safe travels Chuck & Hildi PS; another thought Looking on line I don't see any way you could put heat to the backend unless you use a space heater, I believe their thinking was it was a storage area, Ugh. Now saying this makes me wonder why they installed wiring for an air conditioner in that area unless they figured the trailer was for summer use only, good question for the Kz people ....

They burn clean, so minimal venting is needed really.
