hi!
We've a 5th Wheel KZ Sportmen Sportster 36ft from 2008. Just bough it, used. Great RV, but some failures as it was probably stored very long in a place. We're getting it in shape again as we use it. Already 7000 miles down the road with it, installed chokes for 2 motorcycles and happy with it.
But the generator and the gas pump for the toy hauler rely on a gas tank... that won't fill. The gas just doesn't get in. It noticed the fueller neck has two lines, a large (2") and a thin one. The thin one was sort of bend, maybe the rubber got weak and coundn't sustain the curve and finished in a Z shape. I shorten it so it's now without angles. I also noticed the main rubber fill line is cracked and probably obstructed. I bought a new 10" long 2" large segment so I can replace the part.
Does anyone around have a similar rig? anithing else I need to check?
The generator is a Onon 5500, there is a very long line going from the tank to the geny. Any special checks before recranking it?
How does the pump station work? there is a big pump and a gas gun, it seems it was never used in almost 10 years... how does it work? I've been looking in the documentation going with the RV nothing about it...
