vision2016 We do not cover our 5th wheel, we cover the tires in the winter only, also give it a good washing an wax before winter sets in... These units are made to be outside, as long as you keep a good wax job on it there should be no problems, also in the spring we again wash ours an again wax it, we traded in a 12 year old 5th wheel an the dealer stated he never seen a unit that old in that good of shape, he said it look almost new, as I stated it was never covered just waxed Safe Travels Chuck & Hildi

My trailer is either in use or in my pole barn. After years of dealing with a dirty roof, black streaks, yellowed plastic, faded decals, cracked vents, shrunken vinyl, rusted frame, aged caulking and assorted other damage, I decided to do it right. I've used a cover with some success but it was a chore to install and there was minor abrasion from the wind moving it. In my opinion, the sun does more damage than winter snows and anything you can do to protect it year round will preserve it.

Get it under a car port, no sun, no winter weather.
