Yes, we have the EEZ TPM system on our TT. For us, the system works great. My only suggestion is, replace the (cheap) sensor batteries with quality batteries.

Thanks Larryo. I will keep that in mind. I'm looking at the 10piece kit so that I will have enough to outfit my truck as well. You would think that a 2011 would already have it, but not Dodge.
My biggest worry is a blowout and this kit seems like a fair price considering g the alternative.

Check your tires daily, and eyeball when you stop for lunch, etc. TPMS have a habit of not working as they are advertised, IMHO.

By informing you of a slow drop in pressure, it can help prevent the blowout you are concerned about. However, a sudden catastrophic failure (such as hitting a chunk of metal on the road) obviously won’t be detected in time to prevent the blowout. But, IMHO, having a TPMS is good insurance and will give you some peace of mind. And you are correct, the price of the EEZ system is attractive.

Glad I had a TPMS. In the Spring, I had a slow leak that turned out to be a pop rivet. That slow leak could have gotten real ugly at any time. I use the TST 507 system.

Not only for piece of mind, but insurance as well (as Larryo pointed out). After all, it's not just me on the road out there. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Since I am new at this, I have no experience with these systems, so that's why I am asking. Price doesn't really affect me (can't put a price on safety), I just want to make sure I purchase a quality unit.

Speaking with the Ford service adviser - The OEM fail regularly. His opinion ignore them, although you'll have the icon, and check your tires. I wanted mine fixed (replaced) at a cost of $90 part's price plus labor. My son, a tire installer/service at different tire shops echoed the same experiences. Just my experience.

I also have the TST 507 system and have had them on my Durango since 2012. Other than replacing the batteries twice I never had any problems with them. The peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold.

It seems as thought there are a few good systems out there. The TST 507 and the EEZTire both have excellent reviews. Looks like I can't go wrong with either one.
