We bought a 2018 KZ 241RLK at the RV show in Dallas and are about to take it out for the first time. How do I sanitize the water system? Through the siphon and turn the pump on?

I pick up my new 2018 Sportster 311TH10 next Thursday, so I was about to ask that same question.  |

Add a cup or two of bleach to the water tank and completely fill it with water. With the pump, run water at each and every hot and cold outlet till you smell bleach. Add water to the tank to again fill it completely full. Let stand for a few hours, or better yet, overnight. Drain and flush with known good water.

Can you se hydrogen peroxide rather than bleach?

Can you se hydrogen peroxide rather than bleach? You could, but to get a strong enough solution it would take a lot. Just use simple bleach, without any additives for scent or anti-splash, and you can be assured that all the organisms are killed. |
