some folk from our chapter spent the memorial day weekend in kidron ohio for the Lemans DOG, sorry to say, I couldn't make it. but we plan on holding a demo event July 25th in Western PA, in New Sewickly township Community Days, plus attend the 2nd annual East Coast DOG oct 16-17 in Bird in Hand pa, Lancaster County. if anybody want to join us, or interested in checking us out, feel free to do so. bird in hand will offer dry camping , available for the weekend for a flat rate of just $20.

the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, and Project Healing Waters are hosting a fly fishing outing for our local Hospitialized Veterans, Sat Oct 3rd 2015. Three Rivers Dutch ovens was asked to help sponser this event, This is a Honor, and Privledge for our IDOS Chapter to help serve our Nations Veterans. we will be cooking a few pots to serve our Vets, with a hot meal after a good day of fishing on a private lake. we are still working on the final details at this time, and will be posted shortly , if anybody is in the SW PA area at this time, feel free to stop bye, say hello, and Thank a VET for the sacrifice they made

Bluegrass. Our chapter will be representing at bird in hand. East coast dog in two weeks along with severAl others chapters. I should be arriving around noon on the 16th if my wife gets off work, early iam camping in the event feild with my spree escape Willl hang our chapter sign on it as well, three rivers dutch ovens. I will be looking forward to meeting you. John.

Picked up a 2016 calendar the other day. I put your Raccoon DOG down....we are in Jamestown, NY so that might be a possibility.

Got home from our trip yesterday. We went home by way of Gettysburg, New Stanton...searching husbands genealogy, Flight 93 Memorial, Holmes County Amish in Ohio, and finally Hartville Hardware, Hartville, Ohio. Drove home through the wind and rain of Hurricane Pricilla but the truck and trailer handled well.
It was nice to meet you and your wife also, great time at the DOG. Keep us posted on the one next spring at Raccoon State Park.

Holding a demo at Gander Mountain. Store in West Mifflin Pa. This saturday. 10 am-2pm. Demostrating the art of cast iron cooking, this will finish up our events in the 2015 season, early planning starting for our 2016 season, with the Raccoon Creek. DOG in april , and the Nationals in Loundenville Ohio. In June.

We held our demo at the West Mifflin. Gander Mountain store today, weather was a bit windy, but somehow manageable, had a few people stop by and sample some good food, we handed out seme info on who we are, and what we do! Promoted our upcomming april 2016. DOG at Raccoon Creek State Park. And had some food and fellowship. Gander Mointain. Welcomed us, and gave us a open invite to return. Again. All in Alll....a great day!

How did I miss Hartville Hardware? We stop there every time we travel through....even if we don't need anything....such a nice store. Food is great at the restaurant next door.
