Good morning from upstate New York! We are just beginning our journey as a full timers. Hopefully I'll be closing on the sale of my house by mid October and on our way by the end of the month! My partner and I and our two fur babies are very excited to get started.
Currently we have a Jayco 5th wheel that does not meet our needs. After very much research over the last year, attending the Hershey show the past 2 years as well as other rv shows and dealerships and countless hours of reading forums and watching many hours of videos, I think we've narrowed it down to a Durango. Due to our towing capacity we are limited to the 2500 series. We are especially taken with the 2018 318rlt.
I would love to hear from anyone who can offer any feedback or suggestions to get start, has experience with a Durango 2500 and especially the 318rlt.
Hope you all have a great day and safe travels. If you have the opportunity to visit the Finger Lakes you won't be disappointed. It is beautiful country here and a lot to do and see!

corgyn First of all Welcome to the form an the Kz family The 318RLT looks to be a very nice Durango, While we were at the Kz rally we saw different 2500 Durango's being made, they looked very solid an lots of insulation so I believe you will be very happy with your new trailer. Will there be some hiccups, yes, with any new trailer you will have some minor problems here and there, some you can fix an others better that your dealer can fix if it's larger ... With our 384 we had a few minor hiccups which we fixed our self's, at the Kz Rally Kz reps fixed anything else we ask them to do along with other owners. I can tell you that your selling dealer is very important for service, but also Kz will stand behind their product 1o0 percent thought customer service. I as well as a few other can tell you about such as you read thought the Durango Folder on this site ... The National Kz rally Dates have not been set yet but I believe they may be in late July or early August so you might keep that time frame open. Why do I say this, I believe like the last Rally's there has been factory tours of the 5th wheel an travel trailer lines, MorRyde factory an Techs from LCI an Kz at the camp grounds to fix any problems you have under warranty. Along with that great fellowship between Kz owners of 5th wheels an TT alike ... Again welcome to the Kz family, please join us Durango Gold owners in the Durango fold Chuck

Chuck, thank you so much for all the good information. I truly hope to attend the next KZ rally if we take the plunge on the 318. I'll know more once I close in the house and if it's still available. After all the research and good reviews in this forum, as well as others, I believe the Durango will be a good fit for us. It really is the only one the checks off most of our must haves. If I were a person to get excited, I'd be excited right now. 😜 I think the search is finally over. Yay! I'm also a realist though and know the life sometimes takes a course different from our plans. 😊

In one of your other post you ask about dealers in PA, here is a link to RV Trader who lists all the Dealers in PA selling KZ products. You will have to sort thought the names listed below each trailer being they don't always list Durango Gold 2500's but you can always go to the web page which is always listed at the end of the page they advertise on www.rvtrader.com/K-Z-Inc-For-Sale---K-Z-Inc-RVs---RVTrader.Com/search-results?sort=featured%3Aasc&radius=150&page=1&state=PA&make=K-Z%20Inc%7C765318901&See my other post to you with more info Safe travels Chuck
