went camping this past weekend, everything went fine until packing up. when I start winding in my power awning, it suddenly stopped half way in. when I notice that the round roller was separating from the retracting arm. looking closer I noticed that I lost a screw holding it together, and the roller got twisted and bind in the process. found 1 slightly larger screw in my junk drawer just to keep it together so I could close the awning for the drive home. will try driving new self tapping screws in this week and hopefully it will hold .

I am not sure which screws you are referring to, but here is a suggestion for everyone with a Carefree awning. There are two screws on the perimeter of each end cap that take a 1/4" driver. Take one out at a time and reinstall using the red high strength threadlocker. Those things will work loose and need to be checked regularly.
