Have my 2017 340FLT, wondering if I fill my water holding tank is there an overflow incase I don't turn it off fast enough. My last travel trailer was filled from a hose on the side and once full, it would just flow out the same hole. My 5th wheel uses the switches where you plug into city water and you adjust the colored handles by what you want to fill or use. I heard that if you over fill it the water runs out the top of tank into the belly of the trailer. Problem is the undercarriage is sealed and I don't want to have water damage.

There should be two vent pipes poking thru the bottom where the water will come out when full. Things change often with trailers, so yours could be different. Check underneath and report back what you find. Usually there are two or more low point drains with valves, one water tank drain with a valve and the two vents with no valves.
Yes, the tank needs to be vented so don't do like some and put valves on the vent pipes.

To help ... I have been told that water will fill at 3 gallons per minute, knowing the size of your FW tank should help you know about when it should be full. For us we just use the FW tank when traveling between full hookup sites ... so I run the fill for 5 mins. This gets me 15 gals to use between stops for bathroom activities.

There is an overflow. Be careful to not have too much water pressure as you can do damage if the overflow has too much pressure coming into it.
