question for the 292 owners. what tank does everything dump into on your unit?
currently mine:
front tank- (1/2 bath) i was told it was just the toilet and sink for the half bath tha would drain into this tank but it also has the kitchen sink and the main washroom sink that is near the back of the trailer
main black tank - main washroom toilet main grey tank- outside kitchen and shower.

jgroff Here is what I did to check out my tanks on my 384FLT, I bought some food coloring, dumped it into my sink in the kitchen, seen what tank it came out of by opening my one valve. I then put coloring in each of my two sinks one at a time and seen what tank each was in, the same with shower, now am sure of whats what as far as what goes where Safe travels Chuck & Hildi in S Dakota headed for the Barn

Larkin Of course the black handle emptied the back water tank, next handle (Silver) emptied the back two sinks and the last handle toward the rear of the trailer emptied the shower and Kitchen sink. So there are three tanks, Black water, tank for your bedroom an bathroom sink an lastly a tank for the Kitchen an shower ... Not sure how big each are, all I know is when the DW yells the sink won't drain I know which handle to pull now Now saying this our black handle is 1st in line toward the front of the trailer right next to it is a silver handle for the bedroom and bathroom sinks, then about 8 to 10 inches away is the silver handle for the Kitchen an shower tank, all three are not together ... jetzen's 384 has the silver handle then his black an then another silver handle, I believe that all three of his handles are together but there may have been a change in the 2018 model, an ours is a 2017 ... Also so jetzen cabinet doors open toward the top of the trailer in the rear an passengers side as well over the TV, ours all open from side to side so there is another difference from the 2017 to the 2018 models When ask at the Kz Rally they didn't have an answer to why the difference in handle placement Safe travels Chuck & Hildi in S Dakota headed for the Barn

Chuck, many thanks, drive carefully.
No wonder the rear tank get so full so fast compared to the other one. The shower and kitchen sink probably generate most of the grey water.. The two back sinks of course get some use, but not nearly as much. S Dakota sounds nice 101 here today!

Larkin Glad that helped you, hope that helps jgroff as well with both posts We have been lucky, we moved just in time, Minnesota was hammered yesterday with base ball size hail, we have had some rain coming here to Mitchell the other day but cleared up pretty quick ... They are calling for rain here but we are moving west again in the morning about 275 miles on I-90, stay a few days an head out again, should be home by the 28th. Chuck

My front gray tank handles all bathroom sink (2) and shower water and clothes washer , then the black tank (obvious), then the second gray tank for the kitchen sink and dish washer.
My overhead storage cabinets in the entertainment center and above the theater seats open from the bottom up instead of side to side. this is done to put less stress on the hinges which will cause the door to sag, because of the shape and size of the door. I personally do not like them that way but they didn't ask me.

I know this post was a while back but I still wanted to chime in, with hopes that y'all may still see my response. We have a 2017 292BHT that we purchased brand new and after multiple camping trips with the black tank filling up within two days and having little to no gray water, we asked the service dept. to look at it when we took it in for the annual maintenance appointment.
Upon inspection, they discovered that the kitchen, main bath sink and main bath toilet are all plumbed to the main black tank. The shower is the ONLY thing plumbed to the gray tank and the "master" bath has it's own black tank for the toilet and sink. Both the service manager and the lead technician had never seen anything like this but it explained why our main black tank was filling so quickly and why we had virtually no gray water if/when we didn't use the shower.
I have attempted to get some response from KZ on this but all I'm getting is your typical deflective answers "this is our standard design for this model", etc. To us, this is clearly a MAJOY design flaw - I mean REALLY...what RV has gray water plumbed to a black tank?!?! I am curious to see what your thoughts on this since you have the same rig. Thanks in advance for your time!
