Well... I made it back home to the Houston area this afternoon (temps in the upper 90's and very hot, sticky, muggy, and nasty outside). I was soaking wet after I got the trailer unloaded... I'm definitely missing the Indiana weather we had last week... and the people... and the food. Already thinking about next year's rally.

Well Mr. rvdude Was great to see you, I believe we convinced the DW that she wants to come back next year as well. She already has stated why don't we take the northern route next year going to the Rally Yahoooooooooo So I am already mapping out the route. leaving today go back to were the Rally was for a few days, Hildi didn't buy enough stuff LOL After that we will be in Iowa, then Wyoming an who now's were from there, trying to stay away from the fires in Montana  Safe travels Chuck & Hildi packing up in Ohio  |

Maybe you can talk her into the SOUTHERN route... well, maybe not. If she is talking about the rally next year, better leave it that way.

Chuck, Hope you can find a way around the fires in Montana. We live in Missoula and are surrounded by fires. Can't see 500 yards the smoke is so bad. I'm a native Missoulian and this is the worst I can remember!

mtcowgirl We been watching the news and also the Montana web site, we may just go I-80 again US30 to I-84 to Portland an then north to our home, it's only 80 miles on I-5 DW is talking about taking the northern route next year to the rally across Minnesota, Wisconsin, then Michigan an down to Indiana, your more than welcome if you are going to the rally next year to follow along in our travels an enjoy our great county ... I'd like to do that but not sure if we will be able to. Our plans are to head to Alaska next year. Have a daughter that lives up there. Been up twice but flew in. Now want to take time to see more and really enjoy the trip. Hubby has trucked all over and now we want to be able to stop at all those places we could only drive by. By the way, we sealed the deal on the 366fbt and should be picking it up first week of September if all goes well. Hope to be able to do some camping before winter sets in.
