I have a 2012 KZ Spree 261RKS - the bedroom exterior door deadbolt lock will not engage - it appears to be hitting the frame insert when I try to throw the lock - the regular lock works ok - have not had this problem before and I'm stumped as to why and how it happened - it appears that the frame insert is adjusted all the way out but the dead bolt hits it and won't engage.

If you release all tension on all the stabilizing jacks, does anything change?

does not appear to affect it - had the problem when it was set up and still have the same problem when sitting in the drive hooked to the tow vehicle.

Put a straight edge, like a 4 foot level, against the door frame and the door to see if they are no longer straight.

I had to move my striker plate in our old 5th wheel just a tad, then when they put in the new lock I had to cut a small peace out of the stricker plate to make the dead bolt work .... As lymor stated, use a level and see if your door has been tweeked, if it is a 3x4 an a tape on the top or bottom may bring it into alignment ... Safe travels Chuck & Hildi in Indiana
