My camper says it weighs 5300lb I know that's dry weight. Is there anyway I can weigh it to see what it actually weigh. My tow vehicle is rated for 6700lb it pulls and stops great. I'm just wondering what my camper Weighs.

Go by a local truck stop that has a scale. Weigh the truck and trailer (loaded up as if you were going on a trip), then just the truck. Do some math (Total weight-Truck weight) and there you have it- your trailer weight.

In addition to truck stops; quarries, farm supply and grain storage are possibilities. I have a grain storage and distribution facility near me that will weigh for just a few bucks or free depending how busy they are.

I used Flying J scales and they can determine the weight of the trailer and truck without unhitching. Great peace of mind! Ed
