Interesting how many different iterations of , what is basically the same system, used over just a few years. No wonder it's hard to help each other. I was giving advice based on my system and Edd505 has a different system. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I guess all advice will need to be accompanied by disclaimers.

Interesting how many different iterations of , what is basically the same system, used over just a few years. No wonder it's hard to help each other. I was giving advice based on my system and Edd505 has a different system. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I guess all advice will need to be accompanied by disclaimers. Let me try again to help you understand. I may not have been real clear. The jacks, square tube, round tube, electric or hydraulic it doesn't matter they are irrelevant, your 5th wheel doesn't care. Now we come to the operating system there are 2 that we will be concerned about; A) Level-up B) Ground Control 3.0
This is my understanding (and I could be totally wrong on this), Lippert techs went over this with me but they talked faster than I could hear.
Basically the systems are the same they operate/ perform the same functions the difference is this
Level-up is the original system and has been around for quite some time (about 8-10years) it was designed to be a stand alone system and was adapted to operate alongside the Lippert MY RV One Control and the Jensen Brand of coach control.
The Ground Control 3.0 system was designed to be a more user friendly system and work in conjunction with the MY RV One Control only and is NOT a standalone system it needs the WIFI signal generated by the MY RV coach controller to operate.
Each system has it's own unique control pad but function almost exactly the same. There are many different variations of each depending on the application and what revisions (updates) have been applied. The color of the hydraulic jacks will date the system for Level-up only, black jack body older system, silver jack body newer. I do believe all Ground Control 3.0 hydraulic jacks are silver.
Hope this helps.

It does ... thanks for the education. I just assumed we all had Level Up since that's all I knew. I did see Chuck's controller in his front basement, but I didn't look at it closely ... just thought it was an updated level up. This is a topic that would be interesting to have a Lippert person talk on at the next rally. You know stuff like what's different, how they are different, why the changes, etc.

Yep, jetzens an mine are the same, round legs an run on hydraulic, unlike jetzen I have a extra control panel in my battery compartment. But like jetzen I have a control panel in the storage area an inside the trailer on the wall facing the pantry, oh an I have an APP on my phone as well like jetzen... Thus I have four ways to control my leveling system, slides, main awning, one awning an front cap lights Chuck
