I've never went camping in the winter. I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell if a camper is able to go in the winter without freezing. I have a 07 frontier 2405 the bottom is covered.

Weekender RV'er Here is some info on your trailer www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/23826631/print/true.cfm
Here is a link to the manual for you www.rvtreasure.com/Daves_Info/KZ%20General%20Owners%20Manual%202008%20(June,%202007).pdf The Kz manual States EXTENDED OR COLD WEATHER USE Your KZ recreational vehicle has been built for enjoyment in a recreational manner. This recreational vehicle is not intended to be used as full-time living quarters. 1. For winter use in freezing conditions, more protection may be required. Use skirting and/or insulation below floor level to provide additional protection. 2. Remember, water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit whether fresh or drainage. Proper care must be us ed to protect any system at 32 degrees or lower. Local recreational vehicle dealers and campground personnel may be able to advise you on needed protection. 3. Energy requirements, such as propane and electrical supplies must be adequate. Protect your propane regulator from freeze- ups. 4. During cold weather you will experience more condensation than normal. Using ventilation or a dehumidifier may be needed.

Not real familiar with the Frontier line, but just because the "belly" is enclosed doesn't mean it has what it takes to camp in below freezing temps without issues.. Even the super high end products like ARV's, DRV's, New Horizons, Space Crafts are suspect at times. These are not stick built homes. Christmas at camp 2005 in my Old Montana

I use a tower heater in the living room and a small heater in the bedroom of my trailer. I hardly ever use the central heater... but then again I live in Texas and don't have weather like Chuck's pictures.
