We purchased our first camper in September of this year (2012) a New Sportman KZ 290RBK. We love it!! , first time out was labor day weekend and notice wet carpet under the dinette table and couch in the slide out. It wasn't soak just damp. Took it back to the dealer they pulled all the windows out of the slide and re-caulked the slide. During this process they damaged some thing's on the camper. :'(They tried to correct the damage and damage more. We were just wondering if anyone out there has had issues with were they have there service/ warranty work done and if you can have the work done somewhere other than the place you purchased your camper? Not sure if we can have what they damage fixed somewhere else??? Was really hoping to speak with someone from KZ .

I had a few smaller issues than your and also one big one... I hit a gas pump guard with the back corner while on a trip. I stopped by the factory on our way home (Shipshewanna, IN) and told them what happened and also mentioned the other items of concern as it is a 2013 model. They were unbeliveable. They took care of me with no appointment, repaired the warranty issues and also made the needed repairs from the gas pump incident and didnt charge me a dime. They have a customer for life now. So I guess what I am trying to say is... contact the service side of the factory and if possible take it to them directly. And if your waiting for the repairs go to the Das Essenhaus for lunch. Amazing food and you will need a nap afterwards so tell the KZ guys not to rush.
