I have a 2018 kz connect 241rlk that is developing a squeeky floor in front of the refrigerator and seems to be spreading in this high traffic area, was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

I had 3 other rv's also and this is my first with this kind of issue that's why I put out this query to see if there was some issues with this unit.

Wooden floors can squeak for a number of different reasons. I had a 2005 Montana 5th wheel that in high heat/humidity the floor right by the steps going to the upstairs would squeak or sometimes make a popping noise. I suspect that there was a spot where the floor was not attached properly and in that situation it would warp slightly and rub on the floor joist. Never caused any problems in 13 years of ownership.
That being said you might want your selling dealer to have a look at it.

Thanks for the reply, I was also wondering about humidity because we have been having alot of it lately.I have already contacted the dealer, I'm going to drop it off when we get back home. Not sure if I like the idea of them going up through the bottom of the trailer but I guess that is the only way to repair it.

Just closed on our C241RLK on Thursday. Have it set up under a metal building. I've been cleaning the interior the past two days and will start organizing the cabinets etc. tomorrow. So I've been doing a lot of walking throughout the unit and I do hear a very slight creak every so often near the fridge and hall near the door. My husband is hard of hearing and is unable to hear the noise. I heard the same type of noise when we were walking through the unit prior to purchase and while doing the PDI. We're in Florida and humidity is very high this time of year.
d2 - let us know what happens with yours after the dealer checks it out.

I have a 2017 241rlk and it has that creak there in front of the fridge, where the little hallway starts to the bedroom and bathroom door.
I figure it's just floor creak

Update, just moved our unit to a better lot and the squeeking stopped also the humidity has also dropped but I think moving the trailer did it, the whole floor in that area feels firmer. Go figure.

How the trailer is leveled can make a difference. We complained to our dealer about a bad squeak right outside the bathroom at the top of the steps. We pulled it to their lot and when I went to show the technician, I couldn't get a sound to come out of the floor. Some places we go, there's a squeak, some places there isn't. I think the amount flex put on the frame for leveling can vary from place to place and can cause the floor board seams to bind at times.
These things do take a beating as we drive them around.
