My husband and I purchased our first camper, a New Sportman KZ 290RBK in September 2012. We (me) was so excited to finally get a camper I had been looking for years. The first time we used it was Labor day weekend and noticed the carpet was a Little wet under the dinette and under the sofa by the wall in the slide out. When we returned, we took the camper back to where we purchased it to the service department to have them take a look at it. They stated that they thought that it may be leaking from the windows. They said they would take out all the windows in the slide out and completely reseal all the windows and seals in the entire slide out. When we picked up the camper, we noticed dents all along the bottom of both windows they had replaced. It looked like they had used something to pry the windows out and didn't protect the aluminum under the windows. The caulking job they did around the windows did not match they were different colors. So we took the camper back to the service department and the service manager said they would replace that piece of aluminum and the decals. So again we went to pick up the trailer when they were done. The black frame around the one window had big deep scratch marks on it that someone( sales manager) had taken a black magic marker to cover up. The caulking job was messy and I ask them to clean it up a little. They tried to clean it up and in doing so peeled some of the decal off and made it look even worse! When I said something to the sales manager he said," well you didn't want the silver to show did you? I'm not replacing the window". I feel we now have a worse mess than what we had when we took it to them. We have only used it two times and just want it to look like it did when we pulled it off the lot, it was a brand new camper. We didn't create these issues the service department did. We are stuck, not sure where to go with these issues.We certainly do not want them to do anymore repairs and what about are warranty?? We love are camper and just want it made right. So I was hoping that someone could help us or have some suggestions.
