In one of the other discussion we talked about labels marked near the pull handles for tanks even thought
they are colored black an gray an marked on the handles. The problem was owners were having a problem
determining which handle went to which tank when more than one black tank ... These were trailers that
all the tanks drained into on main outlet and not two, but it could also pertain to trailers with two outlets
do to the order in which the pull handles are placed on the trailer...
I also noticed after posting in another thread that johnr had labels under his tank pulls an on his pull handles
as well were also marked black and gray on the pull handles them selves. I had marked on a list I was making
to ask at the people at Kz at the rally why pull handles were not marked as to which tank they served, my
think may have changed after discovering this ...
Our G384RLT tank handles are also marked black an gray and are colored black and gray as well ..
.
Our tank pull handles are not on the water panel as with some of the older an different Kz Durango Gold or other
Kz products, but attached to the frame with no lettering stating black and gray but only on the handles themselves.
Looking at our rig while washing and waxing it I made sort of a new discovery I believe.
I do not know if it's just dumb luck or was intended, but my black tank handle is the 1st handle on the three pulls,
my black tank is in the front of the trailer.
Next are the two Gray handles, the 1st which is next in line of the three handles is for the gray tank which handles
the sinks in the bedroom and bathroom along with the shower and the last for what I believe the gray tank for the
sink which is the third very back gray handle, thus each handle is basically lined up with each tank it severs. I have
to say that the last gray pull handle is a small distance away from the other two handles, the black and gray front
two pull handles ...
I believe that if you have two gray pull handles they line up with the gray water tanks you have ...
I also have to believe if you have 3 tanks, 2 black and 1 gray your black pull handles should line up with the
black tank it serves, ie number one main bathroom, number two the half bath an then the last which would be
the gray water ....
As I said I do not know if this was intended so owners would know or it was just dumb luck at least on our
G385RLT, be sort of nice to see if in fact this is true with 5th wheels with two bathrooms
